Surveys & Questionnaires
Qualtrics
Qualtrics is the university’s recommended survey software for which you have access to a full professional license. To ensure that you’re using the full version, access at qualtrics.manchester.ac.uk.
Before you starting using Qualtrics, you need to be aware of the difference between a survey/questionnaire and a quiz. Remember that surveys generally don’t give the user feedback or points, whereas an assessment does. If you’re looking for something that gives feedback/points, it may be best to use another tool.

Other Survey and Quiz Tools
Several other software contain survey or quiz options, therefore sometimes you only need something with inbuilt tools. Here is a list of existing software that contains surveys and/or quiz functionality
Softchalk: Has its own quiz and feedback capabilities via its ScoreCenter. Make sure to set this up properly before launching your resource!
Mentimeter/Nearpod: For tracking live session responses or linear interactive homework.
Lumi: Lumi cloud has some limited tracking of some of it’s interactions, however we have found it to be somewhat inconsistent between different interaction types. We suggest you trial out any interaction types before commiting, as often you can’t get the data you need.
If you choose to use a quiz software that is not linked to here, then you will have to provide a stand alone copy of your final questions as part of your submission as “Build files”. This is because the university will not hold the account for your quizzes.
