As a student you will be required to upload an assignment via Blackboard at some point. It is important to know how to submit correctly, as you may lose work if you miss a critical step in the procedure.
How to upload your assignment/eSubmission
The following video outlines the process:
Instructions
- Click the title of the Assignment button (usually on the Assessments page, or via the Assessments menu on the left).
- Read the instructions carefully, including any attachments.
- Click on the ‘Add Attachments’ button.
- Click on the ‘My Computer’ icon to
- Locate and select your file and click on the ‘Open’ button.
- Check your file is now listed just above the ‘Add Attachments’ button.
- Remember to click ‘Submit’ before you exit the page, or your submission will not be completed.
- If in doubt, click into the Assignment button again to verify that your attachment is still present.
NB. In some cases (not all), users who submit before the deadline may have the option to remove and re-attach their submission, if they submit the wrong file. This is done by clicking the ‘take back’ button in the top right of your assignment submission, then clicking the button with the red arrow next to the attachment, before repeating steps 3-8.
