Is it possible to add quiz questions to videos in Studio?
Yes. There are currently 3 types of questions you can add which include: Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer and True/False questions. The e-Learning team can provide more information on this via training sessions or in the Studio Webinar available on our website.
Can students skip quiz questions added to videos?
- Yes, students can skip questions. However, this will be reflected in the analytics as either unanswered or incorrect, which won’t benefit them. They will still have the option to select “Submit answers” at the end of the video.
How does Studio work with assignments?
- Canvas Studio videos can be added to assignment descriptions as video instructions. Alternatively, since all students have access to Studio, it can also be used for video-based submissions. For further guidance, please refer to the e-Learning team’s Studio resources.
Are there any specific settings required for group assignment submission, where a group of students receives the same mark?
Yes. Canvas supports group assignment settings, allowing students to collaborate on submissions. This can include using Studio for video-based assignments, with all content stored within Canvas.
Can I share quizzes with other members of staff?
Yes, but it is not as simple as copy and pasting. You must make a copy of the desired video in your own library and remake the quiz there.
