Is it possible to add quiz questions to videos in Studio?
Yes. There are currently 3 types of questions you can add which include: Multiple Choice, Multiple Answer and True/False questions. The e-Learning team can provide more information on this via training sessions and drop-ins or in the Studio Webinar available on our website.
Can students skip quiz questions added to videos?
- Yes, students can skip questions. However, it will show in the analytics that they haven’t responded or got the question wrong, which won’t benefit them. They will have the option to “submit answers” at the end of the video.
How does Studio work with assignments?
- Canvas Studio videos can be used as video instructions in the description of an assignment. Or, since all students will have access to Studio, it can be used to create video submissions. For more information on this, please see the e-Learning team’s Studio guidance.
Are there any specific settings required for group assignment submission, where a group of students receives the same mark?
Yes, this is possible. Canvas supports group assignment settings. This allows students to record and collaborate on video assignments easier using Studio, and all content can be stored within Canvas.
Can I share quizzes with other members of staff?
Yes, but it is not as simple as copy and pasting. You must make a copy of the desired video in your own library and remake the quiz there.
