Canvas support
If you have any questions or concerns relating to the transition, we are on hand to provide you with all the help you need. We will be providing drop-in support at ‘Canvas Central’, as well as our usual LiveChat and appointment options.
Preparing for the Move to Canvas
Until July, only semester 1 courses are available in Canvas. For those teaching on full year or semester 2 courses, we recommend starting with a thorough clean-up of your existing Blackboard courses to ensure they are in optimal condition for the move.
5 Things We Like About Canvas
As part of a ‘taster’ for some of the tools that come with Canvas, we’ve put together 5 short videos on our favourite features. These are 2-3 minutes in length:
Using Modules to create a learner-centered journey
Facilitate student meetings with the Scheduler tool
Uploading and embedding videos from Canvas Studio
Creating video assignments within your course
Adding comments and timestamps to your videos
